Children's ministries are an important part of Bloomingdale Christian Church, and we offer several different programs to introduce God and his Word to kids, and disciple them as they grow in Christ. For more information on any of these ministries, please contact us.
Nursery is available on-site during both Sunday School and the worship service for children age 2 and younger. Volunteers from the church membership are on a regular rotation to serve in the nursery. There are always at least two volunteers in the nursery.
2-year-olds and younger
Beginner's Church is currently combined with nursery during the Sunday morning worship service. Volunteers from the church membership are on a monthly leadership rotation for this class.
KidzLink is a children's worship service that takes place during the regular Sunday morning worship service. Children will start in the regular service, and then will be dismissed to KidzLink prior to the sermon. Kids will participate in singing and prayer, and will have a Bible story lesson during their time in KidzLink. Volunteers from the church membership are on a leadership rotation for this program.

VBS is a week-long program held annually at Bloomingdale Christian Church. Led by missionary 'Uncle' Tim Marsh and his right-hand man Herman, kids are engaged in Bible stories, verse memorization, and worship time. The kids are grouped into two teams, and earn points for their team by memorizing verses, winning Bible or song drills, and participating in the day's dress-up theme. Children going into kindergarten through sixth grade are welcome.
