Regarding Governor Whitmer's Executive Order 2020-147 "Masks," under Section 2i, officiants of religious services are exempt from the requirement, as are children under age 5 (Section 2a). Section 6 of the order stipulates that there will be no penalty for individuals that remove a mask to engage in religious worship. For the full text of Executive Order 2020-147, click here.
